outreach opportunities

AIM provides a variety of opportunties for people to love their God by loving their neighbors locally, nationally and internationally. Each year AIM organizes mulitple outreach trips to the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation (South Dakota), Guatemala and Poland. All of these trips are built around multi-generational teams, with both the Guatemala and Poland trips having a minimum age for participation of 14 years of age (when accompanied by an adult) and the South Dakota trip being specifically a family trip with no limit on the age of the members of the family. More than taking people on these trips, however, we love to teach churches and other organizations how they can become a part of the AIM team by organizing and leading their own team to these locations with our assistance. To date, the AIM team includes multiple churches, a high school and a university.

giving opportunities

AIM also provides mulitple giving opportunities throughout the year. In particular, AIM's Shoes & Hope Team is always looking for people and organizations who are willing to collect used shoes. Shoes & Hope then uses the proceeds from the sale of these shoes to dig wells, to build water distribution and sanitation systems and to engage in community development activities with communities in the developing world. In addition, AIM's Friends of Lakota Youth Team assists the Cheyenne River Youth Project in fulfilling the Christmas dreams of the kids on the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation through the collection of toys, clothes, school supplies and other items which are delivered to the Reservation each year right before Christmas for delivery to the kids. AIM's Logan Town Outreach Team collects funds to help with the needs of the Janet T. Toe Orphanage Home and the Logan Town neighborhood in Monrovia, Liberia.

AIM is happy to accept direct donations to support its work in Guatemala, Liberia, Poland, South Dakota, and around the world. In addition, for businesses, AIM offers multiple opportunities thoughout the year to sponsor AIM-related activities, including the annual Rockin' N Rollin' with Poland 5K and Fun Run. These sponsorships provide a great way for businesses to support the activities of AIM, while getting their name and mission in front of hundreds of like-minded people.
